Felonies
A felony is classified as a crime which is punishable by death or more then a year in prison. There are five types of felonies. (1) Capital Felonies are felonies whose most sever punishment is death or life imprisonment. (2) Life Felonies are punishable with up to 40 years to life. (3) First Degree felonies are punishable up to 30 years and a $15,000 fine. (4) Second Degree Felonies are punishable with up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. (3) Third Degree Felonies are punishable with up to 5 years in prison and up to $5,000 fine.
