Shawn Richard Harry Smith

Shawn R.H. Smith is a criminal defense attorney and handles all manner of criminal offenses.

Judicial Intern (Fall 1999): Served as a Judicial Intern in Hillsborough County; where he observed judicial proceedings dealing with misdemeanor or county court matters.

Certified Legal Intern (Summer 2000): Served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Pinellas County State Attorneys Office; assisted attorneys in prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases in the juvenile justice system.

Juris Doctorate (Fall of 2000): Received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law (ranked #1 for its training in trial advocacy).

Assistant State Attorney, Sixth Judicial Circuit (January 2001): Began his professional legal career working with the Sixth Judicial Circuit, in Pinellas County, Fl. While employed at the State Attorney's Office he prosecuted thousands of criminal cases. He is experienced in dealing with various types of criminal matter from misdemeanors to felonies.

Memberships: member of the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Mr. Smith also volunteers his services as a Youth Director at his local Church, and has also worked with Teen Court.
